Hi, I'm Daniel

I'm a software engineer who enjoys reverse-engineering old games, pushing their engines beyond their original limits to unlock features they were never intended to support.

Since graduating from UC Irvine with a degree in computer science, I worked at Handshake as an AI QA, evaluating and improving LLM outputs. I currently contribute to Alpha Ring, an open-source mod used by thousands of players, as one of its core developers.

When I'm not buried in a disassembler, I'm probably at the piano, the gym, or gaming with friends.

This October, I'm joining Akamai as a Software Engineer on the Control Plane team, where I'll be working on infrastructure behind its AI cloud platform.

Always happy to connect. Feel free to reach out!
